HOW to IMPORT a CAR from JAPAN:


There are two recommended ways to import a car from Japan. Both ways are from the comfort of your laptop or smartphone:

Which method depends on your reasons for importing….

The two main reasons for importing are:

  1. To get a mint / immaculate car that is way better than the crap for sale on carsales.com and to choose exactly what you want and be the 1st Aussie owner (Marty and Moog buy this way) With a money back guarantee (sensible conditions apply). OR
  2. To save money


A) If you fall into the “ I want a mint car” category, these are the steps: (How long to get the car you ask?… IT ONLY TAKES 6-8 WEEKS) This is the hassle free “leave it to the experts” way to import.

  1. Call me, give me a description of the ideal car and a decent budget to work within
  2. Place a refundable deposit of $1000 to show you are fair dinkum serious (sensible conditions apply)
  3. Nobuo (Peter), Taka-Nobu (TK), Pommy Sam and Tommo (our Jap staff) will start crawling under and over cars all over Japan to fill the order. This includes auctions and Jap dealers.
  4. Suitable cars are photographed and or Youtube videod for you to see and the cars are checked carefully for rust, damage, bad repairs, cigarette smoke, radiation and are test driven.
  5. You have complete control and you yay or nay the cars.
  6. Bid or negotiate on the car you want (we don’t get every car we want – especially at an auction – highest bidder wins) You can decide to bid a bit more on the next car if you miss one today – it’s your call.
  7. Send another $1000 and ship the car you have chosen – pay the balance when you have seen it, driven it and love it! The car will be detailed, serviced, complied, registered, safety checked and any faults sorted out included in the agreed price.

B) If you are the save money type, these are the steps (also 6-8 weeks) (You will save $2000 – $5000 on the normal price by importing yourself)

  1. Call me, give me a description of the ideal car and a decent budget to work within

  4. Suitable cars are photographed and or Youtube videod for you to see and checked carefully for rust, damage, bad repairs, cigarette smoke, radiation.
  5. You have complete control and yay or nay the cars.
  6. Bid or negotiate on the car you want (we don’t get every car we want – especially at an auction – highest bidder wins) You can decide to bid a bit more on the next car if you miss one today – it’s up to you.
  7. Send money for the car you have chosen to pay the auction or Japanese Dealer. Send money to us to cover import duty, GST, transport, customs clearance, AQUIS steam cleaning, gas license fee, compliance and rego costs.
  8. Pick up your car. Please note the car will arrive as described but you are responsible to get the car perfect, detailed, any marks or bruises or imperfections sorted. This way will get you a bargain but the service is “all care – no responsibility” (we only make $1000 for alot of help and expertise and a big saving to you!)
