This is the first WIde Body Super GL 2.8 litre Turbo DIesel 6 speed auto RWD we have imported. These are brilliant luxury toring Hiaces. Being a rear wheel drive it has better fuel economy because it weighs less with less moving parts in the drive train. Fuel economy is awesome on this machine.

This car is amazing to drive - its a brilliant open road car with incredible fuel efficiency and bags of torque - the latest 2.8 litre turbo diesel engine is an understressed motor used in many bigger heavier Toyota vehicles. It has more power and torque than the earlier well regarded 3.0 litre motor. The 6 speed automatic gearbox has improved fuel efficiency and is super smooth to drive. The rear wheel drive model has better fuel efficiency than the 4WD variant and weighs less also.

The 4WD Townace is the Baby Hiace that goes off- road - but it still has a huge cargo area, can carry 750 kgs and can seat 5 people..
We love it bevause it comes with a 4 cylinder petrol engine from Toyota that is strong, torquey and built to last and at the same time it sips fuel returning 6-7 litres per 100 kms. It achieves comfortable highway speeds with ease and is big enough to sleep in. It makes an ideal small camper with dual door side access and a decent internal floor to ceiling roof height.
The constant 4WD or All Wheel drive system is similar in design to the Hiace, RAV4 and Kluger and has excellent off road capability.

This is a very cool new model to Australia from Japan the 4WD Off-Road TownAce. This one has been done up beautifully and includes a lift kit, brand new off road wheels and tyres. This Townace is very sporty and fun to drive with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The 1.5 litre 4 cylinder engine is gutsy and responsive and strong. The fuel economy is truly amazing at 5-7 litres per 100 kms. The light weight design and constant 4WD drive train makes this a very competent off road car able to drive on beaches and serious off road terrain. This TownAce is a very desirable size too - it’s just right because it’s not too big and it’s easy to Park and manoeuvre. Yet it has a massive cargo space in the rear - ideal for making into a camper or for taking on an off road adventure.
