Because this JDM widebody Hiace is a unique body shape that wasnt sold new by Toyta Australia - its the same extra width as an Aussie Commuter (1880 mm) (16 cms wider than a standard LWB Hiace). Shes 2.1m high with a slightly higher roof that still fits in most undergronrking stations and garages. She's a constant 4WD with a 4WD system similar to a Toyota Kluger or RAV4 and works incredibly well in off-road serious conditions.
This one is a 10 seater ideal for a large family or business. Or remove some or all of the rear seats to make an off road campervan.

The Super GL Spec level also comes standard with passenger vehicle soft ride suspension (softer spring rates) for a smoother more luxurious ride over bumpy roads and two inches of extra ground clearance standard from Toyota.
This is a very special handpicked JDM 4WD Hiace in a rare and desirable luxury configuration. It’s been handpicked for its immaculate condition inside and out and genuine low mileage with Japanese provenance / dereg papers and history.
This widebody variant is 16cms wider (at 1880mm wide) than a standard Hiace and has an 11cm higher roofline. Measuring 2.1m high it still fits in most underground parking but has 30% more interior space. Length is the same as a standard Hiace at 4.6m as so is easy to park in any normal car space.
This 4WD Hiace performs amazingly well in off-road driving challenges normally reserved for Landcruisers with its light body weight and constant AWD utilising a 50/50 power split between front and rear wheels it will power over soft sand or traverse a muddy rutted 4WD track easily.
